Guidance for marginalised students - Travelling to the UK from India: London Edition  

We are proud to support this guidance document created by a collective of students and ex-students who have experienced various forms of marginalization, including caste, class, gender, sexuality, and ability. This dedicated group came together intending to provide valuable guidance to fellow marginalized students coming to the UK, especially first-generation learners from India.

While many guidance documents exist at UK universities, they often lack an intersectional approach and are not updated to reflect the current realities, such as changing visa rules and financial considerations. This document aims to fill that gap by offering an open-access guide that is as comprehensive as possible, incorporating lived experiences, practical tips, and resources for students already in the UK as well as those planning to travel here.
